The two most commonly used deck joist tape sizes are 2"x50' and 1-5/8"x50', each with a total length of 500 feet across 10 rolls. If your joists require a wider tape, our 3-inch joist tape can accommodate that need. The vast majority of requirements will be met, and you can cut the size you desire.

Protecting wooden joists is crucial, as the tape helps isolate the damage caused by rainwater moisture and uneven heating and cooling, such as mold, decay, and cracking. This significantly extends the service life of the joists, safeguarding their strength and ensuring their safety.

The joist tape is designed for use in all weather conditions, operating at temperatures of -22°F and above. While viscosity may fluctuate with changes in temperature (decreasing in cold weather and increasing in hot weather), the tape remains functional throughout the year.

Soft and resilient tape and colloids are preferred to better adapt to the thermal expansion and contraction, providing superior tear resistance and ensuring a safe installation and use. This allows you to fully utilize the tape on door joists, roof joists, and other areas where you need it.
